This seven hour online course will provide necessary information for those practicing construction today on the topics of workers’ compensation, advanced building code requirements for building/structural, business practices relative to change orders, project management and false alarm prevention.  The objectives of this course are to provide current industry information and trends on the state required topics of workers’ compensation, building code, safety, business practices, practical project management training as well as knowledge to troubleshoot equipment for the purposes of preventing false alarms.

Ø      The student will understand the importance and have the knowledge to provide the consumer with valuable information on operation of the equipment and preventing false alarms as well as how to address false alarm issues when they arise.

Ø      The student will understand how false alarms affect public safety by diverting the attentions of authorities and how costly this can become for the consumer and taxpayer.
