NEC 2008 Code Changes - Part I: Introduction, Definitions & Chapter 1 (2 credit hours/2 HSW Hours)

This 2 hour course is Part I of a series of courses focusing on changes that are included in the National Electric Code's 2008 edition.  Part I is an Introduction to the changes along with a complete list of definitions.  Chapter 1 is also included and focuses on changes in requirements for electrical installations.

This course is based on the 2008 edition of the National Electric Code created by the NFPA. This resource provides an accurate, reliable, and authoritative account of the hundreds of significant revisions in the 2008 Code.

This Course was prepared with the objective of providing coverage of major changes in the 2008 National Electrical Code. Great care has been taken to select changes that provide the best, most complete information and greatest benefit. There were 3,688 proposals and 2349 public comments processed by the twenty code-making panels, but this Course does not include every proposal and public comment that was accepted nor does it include any that were rejected.

This course is designed to be used with a copy of the 2008 NEC (not included). This should be available for review and reference, especially in regards to lookups in tables.
