A Short Introduction to Ethics (1 credit hours/1 HSW Hours)
This 1 hour course is an introduction to ethics for construction professionals. In this very short introduction, we will be engaging in ethics in the second sense. This course focuses on ethics with respect to areas most useful to you and your profession. Our relation to our surroundings, nature, and the environment will thus be in the background of our discussion.

The student will understand basic terms used in ethical theory.
 
The student will have an understanding of the four major ethical theories.
 
The student will understand the ethical decision-making procedure (called DASDA).
 
The student will become familiar with areas for improvement and best practices.
