·         The student will have knowledge of general considerations necessary in the selection of a concrete removal method.

·         The student will have knowledge of the preparation of concrete and reinforcing steel after the removal of deteriorated concrete and anchor systems.

·         The student will have knowledge of the various materials and methods available for repair or rehabilitation of concrete structures; including the material description, application, limitations, and procedure for use.

·         The student will have knowledge of the appropriate cleaning methods for stain removal, surface coatings and sealing compounds used to protect concrete, and joint maintenance needed as determined by service conditions and type of material used.
