Belt Filter Presses - Part 2 - Filtering Process and Applications (1 credit hours)
In this the second part of this series the course discusses designing the filtering process and applications for belt filter presses.  The main topics are the sequence of the process, importance of coagulants, and applications.  Emphasis is on waste water sludge dewatering which is the most common use for belt filter presses.
