Ethics for Building and Design Professionals (2 credit hours/2 HSW Hours)
Tues, Apr 9, 2024 10:00 am - 12:00 pm $135.00 Add to Cart
Ethics are defined as "a set of moral principles, especially ones relating to or affirming a specified group, field or form of conduct."  What is the best thing a building professional can do in given situations? The answer is based on the ethics embraced by that profession. Professional ethical standards are baseline ideals, governing responses to possible scenarios. Various sets of guidelines establish standards (advisory) or rules (enforceable by various actions), for architecture, for engineering and for construction. We will examine these for each group.
Paul Spite
