Safety for Contractors (CILB# 0615158, ECLB# 0803043) - satisfies 1 hour workplace safety (1 credit hours)
Construction work is one of the more hazardous occupations.  Job-site safety is the responsibility of the individual as well as the supervisor.  Even the best safety program can be defeated if the individual worker does not exercise care in his daily work tasks. This course is written for contractors who need to create and implement job-site safety procedures.  This course will cover specific job site hazards, identifying risks, recognizing unsafe practices and preventing accidents.  The best way to avoid lost time injuries and fatalities is to anticipate what can go wrong and plan to prevent the accident.
