This course teaches the following specific knowledge and skills:
• Students will understand the conflicting financial interests that may arise from spousal employment.
• Students will become aware of the possibility of conflicting financial interest from off-duty employment.
• Students will learn how to maintain impartiality in covered and other relationships.
• Students will learn about the limits on gifts among executive branch employees and Government contractors.
• Students will learn about the restrictions existing when employees seek employment outside the Government.
• Students will understand the ethical issues that may arise when moving from the private sector to the Government
